AT KIWI CAR CARE
We specialize in servicing commercial fleets and service vehicles. We realize that the needs of fleet owners and managers are unique and are not addressed by conventional repair shops. We strive to work closely with you to aid in the management of the fleets that we service. KIWI CAR CARE offers time and money saving services that keep your service vehicles in peak operating condition as well as watching the cost effectiveness of maintaining your fleet .
FLEET TRACKING
By tracking the repair history of your fleet and service vehicles we can determine break down patterns as well as reoccurring problems that may lead to future repairs and additional down time on other vehicles in your fleet.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Scheduled preventative maintenance will always save repair and fuel costs over the life of a vehicle. At KIWI CAR CARE, we will set you up on our fleet tracking program, which will keep track of and remind you of scheduled required maintenances to possibly avoid costly repairs due to lack of maintenance. Preventative maintenance schedules will keep your service vehicles and fleet running at their peak performance and save hundreds if not thousands of dollars in fuel expenses and costly time-consuming unscheduled break downs.
PROGRESSIVE REPAIRS
At KIWI CAR CARE we would rather schedule necessary repairs such as brakes, tune-ups and cooling related repairs on a Progressive Repair Schedule as opposed to waiting for an actual break down. This not only saves on down time for the vehicle and employee, but it also saves money by not waiting for a more severe mechanical failure. It is often the case that by the time the driver notices any problems, the damage has already been done, many times if a break down is going to occur it will inevitably fail at the worst possible moment.
QUARTERLY VEHICLE INSPECTIONS – Quarterly Vehicle Inspections are a very valuable service to fleets that want to keep their service vehicles rolling as well as shielding themselves from many possible liabilities. This inspection service is performed on the entire fleet on a rotating schedule. All major mechanical systems are inspected as well as all safety related items. Individual inspection reports are made on each vehicle and kept on file. Any necessary repairs can then be scheduled at your earliest convenience.
REPAIR COST ANALYSIS
When major repairs are needed, most shops only offer the option of repairing the vehicle. In a commercial fleet situation, that may not be the best solution. To repair or retire a vehicle should always be considered when faced with a major repair. KIWI CAR CARE will work closely with the fleet manager to determine the most cost effective solution for the company considering all the factors that are important to the owner/manager.
